Course completion page and recommended courses
Course completion page appears automatically once a student finishes a course. It confirms completion and immediately displays recommended courses, creating a smooth transition to the next learning step.
This feature helps you naturally upsell digital products: students see new relevant courses at the moment when they are most engaged. Recommended courses include the title, short description, course type (free/paid), and a quick action button to continue learning.
By guiding students to their next course instantly, you:
- increase conversions
- boost repeat enrollments
- raise customer lifetime value
- improve overall content discovery
How to set recommended courses on the Course completion page
To choose which courses will be shown as recommended after a student finishes a course, follow these steps:
- Open your Shopify admin and go to the Courses app and select the course you want to edit.
- In the right-hand menu, click Course completion page. Scroll down to the Recommended courses section.In the field “Start entering recommended course name”, begin typing the name of course and select it from the list. You can choose up to 3 courses to display as recommendations.
- (Optional) Customize the Title and Message that will appear above the recommended courses on the student’s completion page.
- Once done, click Save button.
Students will now see the recommended courses immediately after completing this course.
