Connected courses (for product variants)

Connected courses – useful when you'd like to have several courses as variants of one product.

For example, you have one product, Yoga course, with 3 variants (each variant is a separate course with its own price): Basic level, Middle level, Advanced level.

To implement this approach:

Create a new Shopify product using Shopify Admin ➜ Products ➜ Add product

Scroll down and toggle off the Physical product switch ➜ Click + Add options like size or color to create course variants.

Optional: Toggle off "Inventory tracked" if needed, so there won't be a stock limit

Let's add new Option name: Level and 3 values under it: Basic, Middle, Advanced ➜ Press Done ➜ Set variant prices ➜ Save the changes.

On a product page it'll show 3 options: Basic, Middle and Advanced. Price will be switched automatically if customer changes their Level choice.

Let's connect courses to each Level we created. To do that open Courses Plus ➜ My Courses ➜ Create course.

Select Manual Setup ➜ Add course title and description for the first variant: Basic level course ➜ Press Next.

Select Connected course (for variants) option at the bottom ➜ Press Attach to a product or variant.

Choose Basic variant ➜ Press Select.

Press Create Course ➜ After that you'll be able to find it under the Connected courses tab.

You can repeat the same steps to create courses for Middle level variant and for Advanced level variant.
