Access by 100% discount code
You can provide access to course by creating 100% discount code for purchase, so your students can make a normal purchase without the need to make a payment for that specific course.
How to create Discounts
- From your Shopify admin, go to Discounts → сlick Create discount
- Choose Amount off products
When creating a discount, you can configure the following options:
- Discount method:
- Apply the discount automatically to eligible products.
- Create a discount code by generating one automatically or entering your own code.
- Discount value: Select a percentage discount or a fixed amount.
- Applies to: Choose a product collection or a specific product.
- Purchase type: Apply the discount to one-time purchases, subscriptions, or both.
- Additional settings: Add optional eligibility requirements and set the discount's active dates.
How to configure Discounts
- Choose Discount method:
- Discount code
- Automatic discount
- For the discount code put a code text or generate random one
- Choose a discount value:
- Percentage discount
- Fixed amount
- Choose applies to:
- Product collection
- Specific product
- Press Browse to open collections/products list and select the needed product
- Save the changes
After these steps simply provide your customer (student) with a discount code so they can create a new order and apply discount code to it during checkout.
