# How to remove course access

| There are several ways to remove course access from students:

How to remove students access from the Shopify admin:

If the access is subscription-based, it will be terminated immediately, as the `blocked_course_PRODUCT_ID` tag will be added.

For subscription-based courses, access will remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
