# Course access by a tag

| To control access to courses, you can use Tags feature

To provide access via customer tags:

1. Open **My courses** page → Select the needed course

2. Open **Tags** tab and put the needed customer tag(s) in the **Tag based access** field → **Save** the changes

3. In the Shopify admin open **Customers** tab → Select the needed customer

4. Add to a customer previously saved tag → **Save** the changes

| Customers with this tag will be able to view the course without ordering it. Changes apply during 10 minutes after tag is assigned or removed.
