# Adding community to course (Courses Plus & Mega community apps integration)

[Courses Plus](https://apps.shopify.com/courses) app integrates with [Mega Community](https://apps.shopify.com/community) app.

Now **Course Plus** app has a dedicated page that allows to manage connection between your courses and communities.

If Mega Community app is not installed yet, you will see information about it with a suggestion to install the app.

If Mega Community app is already installed, you will see a suggestion to create a community (if you have already created a community, you be able to select one using **Select community** button)

Let's assume that you don't have Mega Community app installed and want to create a community for your course. You should follow the next steps:

1. Open **Community** page while editing a course in Courses Plus app.
2. Click **Install app** button.
3. After successful installation return back to the **Community** page in your course.
4. Click **Create community**.
5. Specify information to create a community.

After submitting community creation, you will see dialog window asking where to redirect you after community creation - to the course editing page or to all communities page.

Let's click **Back to Courses Plus** to redirect to the course. When you connect your course to a community (communities), you will see the list of communities that are associated with the course.

After connecting the community to the course, you could edit it using **Edit Community** button. This button redirects you to the community editing page in Mega Community app.

By clicking on "three dots" button you could see other actions available to be done with the community. Here you can see:
* **Preview** - allows you to preview the community on the storefront.
* **View in online store** - redirects you to the associated product's page (if community has access type **paid**)
* **Unlink from course** - remove connection between the course and the community

Let's try to unlink the community from the course by clicking on **Unlink from course** option.

Let's assume that have Mega Community app installed and have a community or you unlinked a community from the course and want to connect it back. You should follow the next steps:

1. Click on **Select Community** button.
2. Input community title in text input or click on it to select community from the list.
3. Click **Select community** button to connect the course with the community.
